RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Octo Consulting Group, Inc. (Octo), an award-winning provider of mission critical technology and digital services to the Federal marketplace, today announced it is part of a team, including Prime Contractor DMI, along with Subcontractors DVS, and Dfuse, that has been awarded a $20 million contract to provide systems engineering and programmatic support to the U.S. Army‘s Human Resource Systems (AHRS), which provide Soldiers a set of standardized knowledge-based automation tools that ensure human resource functions are aligned with the Army’s mission.
DMI’s firm-fixed price contract has a five-year period of performance, with one 11-month base period and four 12-month option periods. DMI was awarded as the prime contractor, and Octo, DVS, and Dfuse are sub-contractors on the contract.
Under the terms of the Octo’s contract with DMI, Octo will support the Army’s Program Executive Office - Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), Product Director Army Human Resource Systems (PD AHRS) with programmatic and technical engineering management support for planning and executing the design, development, deployment and lifecycle sustainment of all AHRS hardware and software applications. Octo will support the AHRS Technology Integrated Management Support Services (TIMSS) program team.

AHRS provides soldiers with standardized knowledge-based automation tools that are essential to human resource accountability. As part of its program management responsibilities, AHRS oversees a portfolio of systems in sustainment, including Installation Support Modules (ISM) including Central Issue Facility, Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS), Deployed Theater Accountability System (DTAS), Tactical Personnel System (TPS) and Electronic Military Personnel Office (eMILPO). Additionally, AHRS is charged with developing a next-generation Commander’s Risk Reduction Dashboard early-warning suicide prevention system that provides predictive analytics for identifying and mitigating at-risk Soldiers.
Along with supporting PD AHRS as a subcontractor to DMI, Octo has been supporting US Army PEO EIS as a Prime Contractor since 2008, providing acquisition, business architecture, systems engineering, knowledge management, strategic communications and program management services.
